I love working with you on custom pieces!

I can work with you on any concept, no matter how vague - it is my job and passion to refine and interpret your ideas and turn them into something you can cherish forever.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does pricing work?

Quotes vary,  but as a rough guide, a custom ring tends to start at $550 AUD in sterling silver, and $1800 AUD in solid 9ct gold.

Most sterling silver custom rings fall between $500-$1200 AUD and solid gold rings between $2000-$6000 AUD.

What techniques do you use?

I work mostly using old fashioned techniques like lost wax carving and hand engraving.

Hand engraving is my passion and
I will always try to weave it into my work.

Do you source gemstones?

Yes :)

I source natural Diamonds and coloured Gemstones from top Diamond and Gem suppliers.

Lab created and heat treated stones are also available on request.

Can custom pieces be arranged entirely via email?

Absolutely! This process can be arranged entirely via email.

Do you do in person consultations

Yes - I am based in Sydneys East and can meet you by appointment for a coffee to discuss your custom piece.

Please email me to arrange : tash@stashjewellery.com

What is your turnaround time?

It varies depending on my workload but generally allow between
8 - 12 weeks from initial consultation to finished product.

Do you do rush jobs?

I don't like to be rushed but you're welcome to ask depending on my work load :)

Do you repurpose jewellery?

This is a case by case scenario!

I will need to see the pieces(s) you'd like me to repurpose and decide if I am comfortable working with them.

It can risky reworking old stones, as often they can be brittle or damaged after previous wear and tear, so I will need to assess them before agreeing to work with them.

Can you melt down my gold and reuse it?

Unfortunately not. Reusing old metal is limiting, and also very complicated. This is mainly because I do not know what the exact alloy of your metal is, which makes it difficult to mix with new metal.

We can however look at trading your in your gold for cash, and putting that money towards your new piece.

How do I know my ring size?

Please see the "sizing" section in the footer!
